Transparent Pricing
How much does working with A·D·S Consultancy cost?
Most consultants bury their pricing to create negotiating leverage. Here it is, plainly. There are no retainers, no surprise overages, and no junior analysts billing hours in the background. Every hour you pay for is time worked directly by Aju John, the principal.

Services & Problems Solved
What specific problems can you solve for my business?
If any of these sounds familiar, you are in the right place.
⚡
Your cloud migration is stalled
Every week it drags on creates more risk of downtime or data loss.
🔒
Your backups may not actually work
Most companies don't discover the gaps until it's too late to fix them.
🤖
Your competitors are already using AI
Generative AI and RAG workflows are being adopted now. Waiting has a cost.
📊
Your data systems are slow or unreliable
Poor query performance and bottlenecks compound over time.
🔍
You can't see inside your own stack
Without observability, failures and bottlenecks arrive as surprises.
👤
You paid for senior and got junior
Polished proposals, rotating analysts, half-finished solutions. That model stops here.
Services include Data Security, Cloud Migration, Data Protection & Disaster Recovery, Generative AI & RAG strategy, Performance Analysis, SQL & Data Analysis, Observability, and DevOps-aligned Software Development.
03
Why ADS vs. Bigger Firms
What makes you different from a larger IT consulting firm?
The biggest difference is accountability. With a large firm, the person who sells the work is rarely the person doing the work. With A·D·S Consultancy, the person you meet is the person you work with — every time.
- One senior expert accountable from start to finish
- Direct access — no account management layers
- Roadmaps your team can actually act on
- Senior judgment applied to your problem every session
- No junior handoffs, no padded staffing model
- Months of slow progress handed between junior team members
- Senior rates charged for junior execution
- Migrations and security work drifting without clear ownership
- Big presentations and weak follow-through
- Paying for a senior expert and getting a junior analyst
The short version: A·D·S Consultancy is intentionally kept small so every client receives the same standard of senior attention from start to finish.

Proof & Client Results
Have you worked with businesses like mine, and what results did they get?
Clients have ranged from fast-growing startups to global enterprises in technology, life sciences, and manufacturing. A·D·S Consultancy was founded by a consultant with 25+ years of industry experience, serving clients across Greater Boston and beyond — including zero-downtime-sensitive migrations, security assessments that surfaced critical vulnerabilities before incidents, and AI initiatives scoped around proprietary business data rather than generic demos.
"I wanted to give Aju John a well-deserved shout-out for developing a new search tool that significantly improves the speed and efficiency of locating manufacturing data. This tool has enabled Gentuity employees to perform faster and more comprehensive component traceability."

What To Expect
What does the engagement process look like?
No lengthy procurement cycles. No discovery phases that drag on for months. The process moves fast and stays practical.
STEP 01
Book a free Mutual Fit Meeting
No pitch, no deck. A direct conversation about your actual situation. You leave with clarity and at least one actionable insight regardless of whether you engage.
STEP 02
Get a tailored roadmap
I assess the current state, surface the highest-priority risks and opportunities, and deliver a practical plan with expected outcomes and next steps your team can act on.
STEP 03
Execute with expert guidance
I stay involved as an advisory partner through migrations, security hardening, AI, analytics, and performance work — accountability without a bloated delivery team.
Most engagements move from first conversation to active work within days, not weeks. A·D·S Consultancy is currently accepting new clients, though availability is limited.
06
Advisory Model
Are you an implementation shop, or an advisory consultant?
A·D·S Consultancy is an advisory and roadmap-led consulting practice. I help clients diagnose problems, assess risk, set priorities, design the right path forward, and guide execution with senior judgment applied throughout.
I am not presenting this as a large implementation firm with a bench of engineers who disappear into a project for months. If you need a full delivery vendor with dozens of staff executing under one umbrella, a larger firm is the better fit.
If you need experienced guidance, architecture, focused problem solving, and a clear execution plan your team can act on confidently — that is exactly where A·D·S Consultancy fits best.
07
Engagement Length
How long does a typical engagement last?
Typical engagements run about 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the problem, the responsiveness of the client team, and whether the scope is primarily an assessment, a roadmap, or active guided problem solving.
Some engagements are smaller and tightly scoped. Others continue longer when the client wants ongoing senior guidance through a cloud migration, security hardening effort, analytics initiative, or AI rollout. The goal is never to stretch the project — it is to solve the right problem at the right level of intensity and move on.
08
Geography
Do you only work with companies in the Boston area?
No. While A·D·S Consultancy is based in Cambridge and focuses strongly on the Greater Boston market, I also work with clients outside Massachusetts and outside the United States when the fit is right.
That includes an overseas client, RC Architecture. Geography matters less than clarity of scope, seriousness of need, and a good working fit.
09
Flexibility & Exit
What happens if the engagement turns out not to be the right fit?
You can terminate the engagement at will. If it is not the right fit, you are not locked into a long-term contract or retainer structure.
You simply pay for the hours already used — including any exploration, assessment, or roadmap work completed — at the posted rates. This keeps the relationship fair, low-friction, and aligned with actual value delivered.
10
Client Fit
Who is the right kind of client for A·D·S Consultancy?
The best clients are organizations with a meaningful technical, operational, or data-related problem who want experienced guidance, and have an internal team to implement the solution. They value candor, speed, and clarity. They are willing to hear hard truths early if it helps them avoid expensive mistakes later.
The fit is especially strong when a company needs senior-level thinking around migrations, data reliability, security, analytics, or AI direction — but does not want to pay for a bloated consulting structure to get it.
